As you may be aware, I have been unwell over the last few months, culminating in ending up in hospital last month and not being able to work for the last four weeks. If we have had to alter any appointments of yours during that period, can I apologise and thank you for your patience!

I developed an abdominal infection over the last year which we thought was referred pain from back ache. We realised recently (when it went acute) that it definintely wasn’t backache. Because it has had such a long time to take root, it has been proving to be very stubborn to shift. I am slowly improving

now but have been advised by my doctor to take a leave of abscence from Dentistry for a minimum of three months to totally recover.

So, I am writing to let you know that from the 15th April, I will be leaving Quayside and handing over the reigns of the practice to a local dentist called Mrs Mehrshid Saaedbahkt.

Please accept my apologies for the rather formal nature of this communication and the fact that I probably havent been able to talk to you directly about this, but I have only been able to return recently to part time work so havent seen many people.

If you already have an appointment booked in with us, or are currently undergoing treatment, things will continue as normal with the new dentist.
