Our modern dental suite is fitted with state-of-the art equipment to enable the staff to employ the very latest techniques available.The dentists and Dental Hygienists all regularly attend post-graduate courses to keep themselves abreast of all the advances in the field of dentistry.

 

In common with all other fields of medical knowledge, research opens new areas of progress almost monthly. The Quay side team feel that it is especially important that they keep right up to date with all progress in the treatment of gum disease (a major reason for patients to have lost teeth in days gone by) and cosmetic dentistry. We share the concern of every patient that their smile should show them at their best.

 

We have always taken the long-term approach towards oral care and are keen that our patients not only feel confidence in our professional abilities but also that they are getting the best value for money. Our staff are always ready to discuss alternative treatments and charges with you in an impartial and objective manner.

Quay side Guarantee

All our restorative treatments are guaranteed for two years (unless a different treatment was advised and not taken up) so you know your treatment is the best achievable. CEREC Porcelain resorations are guaranteed for 10 years. If it is advisable to continue the first treatment in a different way, the full cost of the first treatment will be credited to the alternative replacement treatment.

 

Fees

We provide a written assessment and treatment plan with an estimate of the fees for all but simple routine treatment. We will be delighted to provide a plan and estimate for all treatment if required. Estimates of cost of treatment remain valid for three months.

 

We are very happy to offer you a selection of Financial Options to pay for your treatment. You will be able to benefit from some savings or budget for your treatment.

Financial options

Payment at the Start of Treatment

If you would like to pay in full at the beginning of your treatment you will be given a 10% discount. If any further treatment is found to be necessary, and you pay at the time, the same 10% discount will apply.

Pay as You Go

If you would like to pay for treatment you have received at each visit, you will be given a 5% discount for that appointment.

Quay side Account

An account for the course of treatment will be sent at the end of the treatment and is payable within one month.

10 month interest free

We are delighted to announce the launch of our new Smile Card. This payment method allows you to split the cost of your dental treatment interest free over 10 months and can be used for the whole family. It is simple to apply for and approval can be received almost straight away. To make it even easier, we can apply for you at the reception desk.

Anxiety at the Dentist

We are very aware that many are anxious going to the dentist, but we can help.

Stop!

You can stop the dentist and nurse or the Hygienist at any time for anything by raising your hand. Do this if you want to swallow, have a rest or can feel something.

Steering Clear of Pain

Dental treatment can be painful sometimes so we give injections to prevent this. However, sometimes the injection itself can be a little painful so we use:

  • Surface anaesthetic cream, so you do not feel the prick of the injection.
  • Slow injections; which take slightly longer, but are painless.
  • Needles so fine you can hardly feel them.
  • Local anaesthetic solution at body temperature, again so that you cannot feel it.

Our obligation to you as a patient of Quay Side Dental Practice

 

  • We must tell you in advance, in writing, of the cost of all but the simplest routing treatment. We will always give an estimate of any treatment before we start.
  • We must offer you our very best treatment and give you alternatives.
  • We must listen to you when you talk and provide the treatment that you want.
  • We must apologise and make amends if we do not perform as we promise and are the judge of our performance
  • We will do our best to keep to time because we know everyone hates to be kept waiting.

  • Do please let us know if there is anything that upsets you. That way we have a chance to put it right, apologise and give you appropriate compensation.
  • If you like what we offer, we ask you to refer you friends and relatives to us. Like all businesses we have to have enough work to do. However we aim to do your treatment so well that we do not have to continually redo things for our patients, so it is important for us always to have new people joining us with whom to work. In this way we will be able to continue to provide the level of service that you have come to expect from us.
