Headache management using BOTOX and NTI mouth guards

For years now we have been successfully treating tension type headaches caused by clenching or grinding teeth, or muscle spasms. We have recently started treating patients with Chronic Migraines. We are using the latest techniques involving BOTOX to calm muscle trigger points and prevent migraines from appearing.

The evidence for BOTOX effectiveness is getting strong.


75% decrease in headache severity in study of 32 patients.

Significant reduction in number of headaches per month, reduction in severity, reduction in vomiting in 123 patients

Significant reduction in pain after 12 weeks for 4 months in 48 patients.

51% complete elimination of symptoms, another 38% found a significant reduction in symptoms.

Significant reduction of nausea, vomiting, visual disturbances, light and sound sensitivity, in 69 patients

70% complete relief of acute migraine within 2 hours of treatment in 10 patients.

85% reduction in numbers of headaches and reduction in intensity in 27 patients.

77% effective for menstrual migraines and all remained effective when retreated.

90% completely effective in ten migraine patients.

68% completely effective in 19 previously difficult to manage patients

Significant improvement in frequency and severity of tension type headaches

Significant improvement in intensity of headaches and range of movement in patients with whiplash injuries.
